Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has told Nicklas Bendtner he's not fit enough to be risked in big games.
Bendtner lacks match fitness and is still "30 per cent away" from his best.
Wenger said: "I need to play Bendtner but as well as you might know, I need to win the games even more than anything else.
"You wonder as well when you are nearly there you can play but when you think that he is 30 per cent off you cannot play him.
"I personally believe that he is not at his best. He had worked very hard and the basic fitness is there. The speed of his feet is not completely there. That takes time when you have been out for such a long time."
